Horse Creek is nestled in a valley of the Loess Hills in Southwest Iowa. The property has trails that traverse through forests and valleys with great vistas. Plan to spend several days so you can expand your riding to Waubonsie State Park Equestrian trails or the Wabash Trace Trail. Learn about the new Lewis and Clark Trail that goes through western Iowa from Sioux City, IA to the Missouri state line.
Day Use: Riders with horses are welcome to spend a day at Horse Creek. Reservations are necessary because we allow only a limited number of riders. As a guest, you will have exclusive use of the picnic area and any of the amenities.
Day rates: –sunup to sunset- are a flat $15 rate per person for up to 10 people. Ask us about group rates for larger parties.
When your plans include activities that use the arena, you can ensure its availability in 2-hour segments for $25. This covers your entire party.

Stay at Horse Creek
Available for overnight stays
Horse Creek welcomes travelers with their horses, who want to make a quick overnight stop. All guests have use of the arena, round pen, and individual stall.
Camping Spots with Hook-Ups
Horse Creek Adventures has electrical hook-ups (110, 30 & 50 Amp) for campers. Each spot has easy access and can accommodate up to an 80-foot rig. The campsites are near the 50’ by 100’ arena and 80’ diameter round pen. Nightly rates begin at $25.00
