Horse Camping, spend the day riding and exploring!

Several ways to stay with your Horse. Traveling? Special Events? Trail Riding and enjoying time with friends? One night or a week?

Spend the day Riding & Exploring

The property has trails that traverse through forests, valleys and pastures with great vistas. Horse Creek Adventures has several miles of trails. Horse Creek is nestled in a valley of the Loess Hills in Southwest Iowa.

Plan to spend several days so you can expand your riding to Waubonsie State Park Equestrian trails or the Wabash Trace Trail. To accommodate our guests who do not want to move their trailer after they arrive, we have added to our services, trailering your horses to Waubonsie or other close by riding areas.

Day Use: Riders with horses are welcome to spend a day at Horse Creek. Reservations are necessary because we allow only a limited number of riders. As a guest, you will have exclusive use of the picnic area and any of the amenities.
Day rates: Sun up to sunset- are a flat $15 rate per person for up to 10 people. Ask us about group rates for larger parties. For non- horse owners, guided rides for up to two hours are available with prior reservations.

Reservations: To reserve for “day use or guided rides”
We prefer to be contracted by phone directly 712-314-0648.
